On December 19, 2012 Downtown Disney welcomed the grand opening of the largest retro-styled bowling alley called Splitsville. This 50,000 square foot 2-story building features a 30-lane bowling alley (10 on the first level and 20 on the second level) giving families a sense of privacy for a more relaxing experience, billiards tables, a bar, and food, but this is anything but a normal bowling alley.

The decorations are a mix of the classic and the modern, creating a nice balance that will appeal to bowlers of all ages with over 60 flat screen TVs to entertain. At night the bowling alley will have live entertainment every evening. It’s important to note that on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings the second floor will be reserved for people over 21 year old after 10:30 in the evening.

The food menu is certainly something that will make your mouth water, not only will there be the your usual favorites like hamburgers, fries, pizza, and soda, but there is also two new sushi bars, appetizers like fried calamari, entrees like pulled pork and filet mignon, plus a whole menu of desserts, allowing guests to dine in style without having to leave the building. There is also a Kids menu available. For those Disney guest 21 and older, five bars also offer a variety of drinks suited to all tastes.

Splitsville as of right now will only serve walk-in guests. They will not offer reservations in advance. However, if you need a table for you and your family, just ask one of the staff and they will assist you.
