The journey begins as riders enter the newest set for the next “Mummy” movie sequel through the Museum of Antiquities. Riders begin walking through the backstage area with all of the cameras, movie lights, storyboards, and costume cribs. Video monitors show a “mockumentary” hosted by Reggie a low-level but very enthusiastic movie crew member, about the making of the latest “Mummy” sequel. It appears that some weird stuff has been happening on the set. Some of the film’s stars believe the place is cursed, while others say there’s no such thing as curses. Except somehow during the backstage walk through you have just entered through the walls of the curse and found yourself in a burial chamber and an archaeological dig. In the center is an enormous Egyptian statue that sits above a freshly unearthed keystone.

As you wind around and up stairs you load into your 16-passenger industrial carts. You hear a voice from around the corner as it beckons. It’s a slightly mummified, as we hear Reggie who warns us that the curse is very real and that we need to get out. Is it to late for Reggie, as the cart moves on you come to an altar, the Mummy appears behind it, as a large sand face. He makes you an offer do you dare trust the Mummy? As the ride continues you come to another dead end, but wait what is the wall turning into?

Now hold onto you hats and little children, because this is where the ride gets crazy. Your journey wild begins but before you are launched uphill, you have few more surprises to go through. At the top of the hill you have entered into a high speed roller coaster ride where you will have wild drops, moments of weightlessness all to see if you have the power to fight Imhotep’s curse…or will you be entombed inside forever?
