A fun fact about the topiaries, each design takes months to plan. It starts with the sketches to deciding which plant material to use. Welding comes next on the topiary’s frame. Workers also create tech-friendly internal irrigation systems so that each character topiary is perfectly watered. Then, the planting begins.

Even though this entire process takes months, Epcot’s colorful transformation happens overnight. Now that’s the magic of Disney first hand.

Each year the show will change, with different character topiaries, various arrangements in Epcot’s gardens and on its floating flowerbeds and flower towers.

The one thing that astounds people when they first come to the festival is the explosion of color that can be found all over the Theme Park. This is one festival that will have you leaving inspired to create a Disney Garden in your own back yard.
