As you enter Tomorrowland look up in the sky and you will see rockets soaring in a colorful circle high above you. Astro Orbiter will send you spinning high over Tomorrowland in your very own Rocket, at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Originally known as Star Jets, this ride became Astro Orbiter in 1994.

Let me warn you though, if you have a fear of heights this will not be the ride for you, as you will have to take an elevator up to the main loading area. Just like Dumbo guests can move their rocket up and down. This attraction offers views that are fabulous, but also very unique as well.

You’ll often see a line for Astro Orbiter. Between taking the elevator and not being able to accommodate a lot of guests per ride, this one requires patience.
